REIDS Ltd was established in 2004 as a small electrical engineering company.
During the initial formation of REIDS Ltd, founding and managing director, Robert Reid, set out a substructure; a foundation of values that have bound the company to it’s well-know reliability, quality and safety.
With Rob’s previous many years of experience in industry as well as his own personal moral code, these 3 main values became the ‘base code’ of the company:

- The most professional, consistent and reliable quality-of-work;
- The most family driven team of employees - making the first two values possible.
It’s these three main pillars of values that ensure the REIDS mission statement and vision is met!
Very quickly in the start-up of the company, REIDS Ltd was approached by one of the largest global chemical companies, who asked us to work closely with them to establish an engineering department at one of their large UK sites.
Over the years REIDS Ltd has developed an engineering department in many disciplines, gaining huge insight in the chemical industry, amongst many others. With our customer base increasing year-on-year, our expertise enables us to offer specialist engineering solutions throughout many industries.
Automation & Control solutions, Electrical & Mechanical installations and maintenance, Compex trained Installations & Inspections (ATEX), Pipe Fitting, Welding and Turnkey projects, including: concept design through to final build, installation, and commissioning are but a few of the service we can offer on a one to one basis quoted to each customer.
